'Unitus' is Latin for "I mix" or "I combine"; which is appropriate as this is a field blend (mix) of Riesling and the German varietal Sylvaner. The grapes grown together, picked together and fermented together. A portion of the wine was then left on its skins in two clay amphorae for over 100 days, while the balance was matured in old French oak. This rare field blend is best enjoyed together with friends and family.
